Braves acquire 2B Dan Uggla from Marlins for INF Omar Infante and LHP Mike Dunn

Cardinal fans can scratch Dan Uggla off of your dream list for second base if you thought they had a chance at him.  Uggla was traded today by the Florida Marlins to the Atlanta Braves for INF Omar Infante and LHP Mike Dunn.  From John Mozeliak’s comments the other day, it appeared the Cardinals are set to make a deal for a shortstop rather than a second basemen anyway; news that still has me scratching me head.  Uggla recently turned down a 4 year, $48 million offer from the Marlins.
